NCQA AccreditationNCQA accreditation is a nationally recognized evaluation that consumers, purchasers, and regulators can use to assess managed care plans. The review process is rigorous and consists of both on-site and off-site evaluations conducted by teams of physicians and managed care experts. A national oversight committee of physicians analyzes the teams’ findings and assigns an accreditation level based on Prominence Health Plan’s compliance with NCQA’s standards and its performance HEDIS® and CAHPS® measures.

Prominence Health Plan’s HealthFirst Commercial HMO/POS Plan of Nevada is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

The NCQA accreditation process is voluntary, and Prominence Health Plan is valid through June of 2020.
